EVS Corporate Securities Analyst
Job Description:
The primary focus of this position will be to represent the Corporate Bond group’s requirements to re-engineer the Corporate, Government and Agency securities pricing model. This new model will incorporate more sophisticated logic to reflect market values for Corporate Fixed Income Securities. This position will also be responsible for working with the Corporate Group to develop new tools and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather requirements for this new model from the Corporate group
Make recommendations to improve the requirements.
Perform a workflow analysis both current and future.
Work with the PMO, Development and Methodology groups to incorporated the requirements into the new model.
Create a test and implementation strategy for the model working along with the appropriate groups.
Design and implement new tools and systems.
Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
The candidate should have a minimum of seven to ten years experience in the Corporate Fixed Income Securities industry.
Strong quantitative, analytical and judgment skills.
Strong understanding of the Corporate market and current modeling techniques.
Ability to understand the dynamics of the market place and capture the evaluation logic into a pricing model.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong skill set with C++, JAVA
MBA and/or CFA
Ability to work as a part of a team and independently
Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
Ability to work under stringent time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workload.
