Major NYC Equity Trading firm is looking for an experienced Equity Program Trading Analyst/Quant to help develop and build better Algorithmic models for high frequency trading and execution optimization.

This person will report directly to the head of Program Trading and will work independently to analyze existing trading programs and enhance, develop and build better state of art execution models. The candidate will be expected to have a PhD degree in a quantitative science, 3-5 years of experience modeling strategies on a Program Trading desk and strong C++ or Java Programming skills. This is a position for a doctorate level candidate with strong research skills who can also implement their ideas in code.
